October 2026 half-term Playscheme & Inset day
October 2026 half-term playscheme and FCCE Inset day (Mon 2nd Nov) is out now!
We are open from Monday 26th October to Monday 2nd November, from 7:30am - 6pm each day, breakfast is provided and served 7:30am - 8:15am each morning. Snacks are provided at 10:30am and 3:30pm each day - just bring a packed lunch!
School days 8:45am - 3:15pm £23.00 & Full days 7:30am - 6pm £30.00
The team have planned some spooky Halloween activities and fun Autumn crafts and local outing - so come join us for some holiday fun!
We welcome everyone to OSCARS Playschemes, not just children who attend Frampton Cotterell C of E School. When we visit off site locations we have a 1:5 staff ratio, but also require permission - please answer the permissions question when booking sessions on Magic Booking.
Please book asap to secure a space as bookings run on a first come first serve basis. Children who attend Frampton C of E School are given priority booking for 7 days after release of any playscheme onto Magic Booking. All other bookings awaiting approval will be actioned after 7 days.
We accept 4 - 11 year olds (Reception class to Year 6) from all surrounding areas, not just Frampton Cotterell.
Our team work hard to make sure your child has fun during our sessions, children make new friends and amazing memories at OSCARS.

Autumn walk & play at the Centenary Fields
followed by Hot Chocolate and spooky cookies back at OSCARS
Movie & popcorn afternoon

Additional Information
Although we have set activities on each day, we will always have the ‘usual’ activities on offer as well: football, colouring and arts & crafts, outdoor play, construction etc. We will always make sure there is something fn for everyone!
Staffing for playschemes is 1:8 ratio.
Please note that all activities are subject to change in the case of unforeseen circumstances or adverse weather conditions.
Trips/Outings Days
- On trip days, parents/guardians will be given a mobile number to use in case they need to contact a staff member throughout the day.
- Our trips are staffed at a 1:5 ratio, with a floating member of staff. Each staff member will be responsible for a small group.
- If you have any concerns about the trips, please do speak to us. We are aware some children may have never been on a trip before and we will always carry out full risk assessments.
Breakfast is available from 7:30am - 8.15am. On all days, parents are requested to send in the following items:
- packed lunch
- water bottle
- change of clothes
- sun hat
- sun cream
- sensible shoes
- warm clothes if cold/wet
