Easter Holiday Club 2024
Our Easter Holiday Club is running from Tuesday 2nd April - Friday 12th April. Pick and choose the days you need or enjoy our activities for the whole week!
Full Day: 7.45am - 18:00pm COST: £26.50
School Day: 9am - 3:15pm COST: £22.00
Sibling Discount of 12% applies for each additional child from the same family.
All bookings must be made through our Magic Booking system. Please click http://oscars.magicbooking.co.uk to register or login.
Each day, children will be encouraged to play outside, and a different outdoor sport will be offered. General arts and crafts, as well as free access to all the toys in the OSCARS building will be on offer. Our first snack will be @ 10:30am, lunch is @12:30 and second snack is @3:30.
Tuesday 2nd April
We will start today with a game of football outside. We will then conduct some exciting science experiments. Lastly the children can take part in some fun freeze dancing.
Wednesday 3rd April
Today the children will design and sew puppets. There will be a group game of scrabble and the children will be able to take their scooters on the playground.
Thursday 4th April
Does your child love drawing? Book them in for a fun Pictionary Air session. We'll also be making colourful candles and playing basketball today.
Friday 5th April
The children will be able to make some yummy cookies today to take home and bake. Hockey is the sporting activity of the day and in our games time we'll be completing puzzles.
Monday 8th April
This morning we will be taking a lovely nature walk to Poplars Farm. Once at Poplars, the children will be able to play in the park and buy some chips with any spending money. Free play will be on offer in the afternoon and we'll finish up with a movie!
Tuesday 9th April
Today the children will have the opportunity to hone their tennis skills with some fun on the school playground. We'll make some crunchy slime and play broken telephone in our games time.
Wednesday 10th April
Give your child the chance to play an exciting game of netball by booking them in today! They'll also come home with a pompom animal they've made and tell you stories about the game of Charades they played!
Thursday 11th April
Today we will walk to Crossbow park for the children to play on the equipment there. Later in the afternoon we'll have some fun with the parachute in the playground and the children will enjoy decorating cupcakes.
Friday 12th April
Our last day of this year's playscheme will see the children making bookmarks, using their own theme and designs. We'll head into the last weekend before school starts with a movie and some yummy hot chocolate.
Additional Information
All bookings should be made through Magic Booking. Once you have booked your sessions you will need to pay in advance for the sessions.
Although we have set activities on each day, we will always have the ‘usual’ activities on offer as well: football, colouring, outdoor play, construction etc. We will always make sure there is something that the children want to do!
Please note that all activities are subject to change in the case of unforseen circumstances.
Breakfast is available until 8.15am. On all days, parents are requested to send in the following items:
- water bottle
- change of clothes
- sun hat
- sun cream
- sensible shoes
- packed lunch
- warm clothes if cold/wet
COVID POLICY: If your child is showing any symptoms, please do NOT send them to club. We would encourage the use of lateral flow tests regularly and getting a PCR test should there be any symptoms. We will need to send your child home if we suspect covid symptoms. We ask that if your child receives a positive test that you let us know ASAP. We will then support in identifying those who are close contacts. We do have a few vulnerable children attending OSCARS so this is really important. All staff will continue to do lateral flow tests twice a week.
